The Colnago brand needs no introduction, they have been building the ultimate racing frames for over 50 years in Italy. The list of former and current champions riding Colnago bikes reads like a 'who's who' of the professional peloton over the last half century.

The 2008 Colnago range builds on the strength of the re-vamped 2007 range with some new models. updated graphics and a new fork on the award winning Extreme Power model.

The graphics have been completely updated on the Extreme Power and Colnago has added a completely new fork, the Carbon 75 fork weighing in at only 340 grams.

With the most wins on the Pro Cyclocross circuit Colnago know a thing or two about 'Cross bikes so it is good to see that they have introduced a new entry-level 'cross model, the World Cup. The World Cup has heat treated a 6000 series triple butted Aluminium frame with Colnago's 'cross specific geometry and an affordable price. We are awaiting images and further information on the 'cross bikes and will post something as soon as we know more. For now we know there are two models, an Ultegra equipped bike at £1699 and a 105 model at £1299.

Colnago continue to produce the legendary Master X-Lite steel frame and given the popularity of single speed and fixed bikes it's great to see a 'Saronni' painted Master X-Lite frame with track ends at a very respectable £950 with a steel Precisa fork.
