Commuting Bikes

At Mosquito we have always stocked a good range of commuting bikes and we continue to do so with offerings from Scott, Genesis and Ridgeback. We keep a god range of the Scott Sub bikes in stock and a representation of the Genesis and Ridgeback range.  Bikes that we do not have in stock from Ridgeback or Genesis we can source very quickly (normally nexy day) and with our extensive knowledge of the ranges and experience of cycling in London we will be able to advise you as to the model to choose. Both Ridgeback and Genesis are designed in London and both ranges offer great value bikes to suit all riding styles and preferences. We have been busy over the winter searching out new brands which are upto Mosquito standards!

Assos - Simply the best cycle clothing available bar none. We have just received our first delivery of the Assos summer range and it looks better than ever. Just what you will need for long, hot summer rides.

Crumpton - THE best carbon fibre frames available (and that's official, they have recently been awarded carbon fibre builder of the year at the prestigious North American Handbuilt Bike Show). All the frames are custom built so fit in with our philosophy perfectly. Nick Crumpton is a one man band who has previously dealt direct but has decided to change things around a bit and signed up two shops - Mosquito and a new store in Austin Texas owned by a Texan ex-pro who apparently rode the Tour a few times. So if you want the best carbon fibre frame, come and see us if you are in the UK or pop into Lance's new shop if you are stateside!

Ibis - The Ibis Mojo was voted MTBR Magazine's full suspension bike of 2007 and rightly so. The new Mojo SL looks set to build on this success and is proving to be the hot bike of 2008. New to the range is the sub 900g Silk SL road frame which has allready received rave reviews in the magazines.

Independent Fabrication Mountain Bikes - Up until now we have been stocking only the IF road and cross frames. However we are now stocking in their fine MTB frames - the steel Deluxe and the Ti Deluxe. Sweet riding hardtails which simply can't be beaten!

Solo - A unique clothing brand from New Zealand who have been causing quite a stir over the last year. Previously only available online but coming soon to your favourite store. We are pleased to see that Lance is following us on this one as well and stocking Solo, he keeps good company!

 Professional Bike Fitting

Every bike we sell is fitted to suit you and your riding style. We make comprehensive use of the Sizecycle Fitting System, the majority of our custom builds start with you spending a couple of hours with Roger on the Sizecycle jig, and then only when we are perfectly happy with your fit do we discuss frame options with you. In this way you can be sure that the bike you buy from Mosquito will not only be the best for your budget it will also fit you perfectly.

Cyclescheme

Mosquito is a registered participant in the governments 'tax-free bikes' scheme administered by Cyclescheme.
There is a hefty charge of 10% to us on all sales through Cyclescheme. For regular bike purchases (Scott, Ridgeback, Genesis etc) we absorb this. However any custom build will be subject to a 10% admin charge, which will be added on to the total bill (therefore allowing the tax saving to be made on this charge). This charge applies to all purchases of bikes or frames from Moots, Independent Fabrication, Fixie Inc, Pegoretti, Crumpton, Ibis and Gunnar and any custom builds of Litespeed, Merlin or Colnago.
