Professional Bike Fitting at Mosquito

Every bike we sell is fitted to suit you and your riding style. We make comprehensive use of the Sizecycle Fitting System, the majority of our custom builds start with you spending a couple of hours with Roger or Phil on the Sizecycle jig, and then only when we are perfectly happy with your fit do we discuss frame options with you. In this way you can be sure that the bike you buy from Mosquito will not only be the best for your budget it will also fit you perfectly. Pegoretti Marcelo Review

Cycling Weekly recently reviewed the Pegoretti Marcelo (supplied by Mosquito) and gave it a rave review, as we would expect! You can read the full review here
"At first the Marcelo seems full of contradictions. At a glance it’s traditional —round steel tubing,classic geometry, horizontal top tube — but go in close and there are many carefully
considered and perfectly executed improvements to the old format. Oversized stays, reinforced dropouts, extended head tube, lightweight Columbus tubing and an off-the-wall paint scheme.
Ridewise, those looking for a trendy ‘steel is real’, old-school experience will be disappointed, because it rides like a race bike. It’s light, stiff and fast. Overall, the Marcelo is the result of years of
experience of handbuilding racing bikes, with the latest materials and innovations via an artist’s attention to detail and loving care."

 We have just secured Fixie Inc's stock of 2009 Blackjacks and are offering the complete bikes at £1099 a massive £400 off the original price. The 2009 Blackjack is a classic model with Brooks finishing kit and plenty of trademark Fixie Inc finishing touches such as the chromed stem and custom built wheels. Zullo frames

On a recent trip to Italy we visited Tiziano Zullo and his wife Elena in the Zullo workshop in Castelnuovo del Garde on the shores of the beautiful Lake Garda. We were very impressed with the quality of frames produced by Tiziano as well as the beautiful paintschemes. So, we are now very pleased to have been appointed as the Zullo retailer for the UK.  

The Zullo range comprises both lugless and lugged steel frames using both Columbus and Dedaccia tubing.
Inqubo (£2100), a lightweight Dedaccia 16.5 tubed lugless race frame.
Vergine (£2995), Columbus XCR stainless steel race and sportive frame.
 Vintage (£2100), lugged 80's style road frame.
Tonica (£1650) tig welded classic cro-mo frame and fork, great winter training/Audax frameset.

All framesets are handbuilt to either custom or stock sizing (no extra for custom)

Cyclescheme

Mosquito is a registered participant in the governments 'tax-free bikes' scheme administered by Cyclescheme.
There is a hefty charge of 10% to us on all sales through Cyclescheme and we therefore have to levy a 5% admin charge to recoup some of the cost. This is added on to the total bill (therefore allowing the tax saving to be made on this charge).

As more and more people see the light and turn to cyling as the sensible way to get around the city, we at Mosquito continue to offer a great range of bikes designed to cope with everything the urban riding enviroment has to throw at you.
