At Mosquito we like to work with people who share our passion for cycling, one such person is Celeste Milani.

Celeste's father, Natale, began the Milani bike company in 1927 in Gallarate 35km north of Milan.  Natale was a racing cyclist and craftsman who carried on building for many years. On Natale's death in the 1990's the firm became dormant and various far-eastern companies offered to buy the name. However Celeste was having none of it and frames once again began to be produced in Gallarate.

Milani still produces frames designed and created in Italy from the retro styled steel frames through thoroughbred aluminium cyclocross frames to the latest in carbon technology. All frames are available in custom geometry.

We would like to make it clear that there has never been any connection between the Milani of Natale Milani and the Milani for which Dario Pegoretti worked with his father-in-law, Luigi, for many years.
