Il Pompino > Starting out with their award winning Inbred singlespeed frame. On-One wanted a 700c wheeled road bike that had the same charms and character as the Inbred, but that would eat up tarmac, take on traffic and ride wherever you wanted to go. Geometry is based on Cinelli's proven semi-compact geometry, twiddled a bit to allow even more adjustment. MTB riders and road riders will get on with this frame really well. Custom drawn DN6 aerospace 4130 chromoly to give a great ride with the unique rear triangle design to maximise lateral drivetrain stiffness, but not at the expense of vertical compliance and frame comfort. A comfortable, compliant, rigid, accurate steel bladed rigid fork, with canti/v-bosses on to give proper braking on stupid roads.

Inbred > The On-One Inbred is designed as a bike for riding. No fancy clever bits, just engineering plain and simple to do the job. It excels in grotty conditions where it's no-nonsense construction lets the rider get on with riding. Using custom picked blend of DN6 aerospace 4130 chromoly to give a great ride with the unique rear triangle design to maximise lateral drivetrain stiffness, but not at the expense of vertical compliance and frame comfort. It's a different way to do it, it's not suspension, but it works. The frame's designed to be set up either with the On-One handbuilt five-piece fork or a suspension unit. The rigid fork was developed to give a great ride but retain maximum torsional rigidity to allow steering precision. Also, the 1 1/4" fork tubes provide a solid mount for your brakes letting you slow down and control the bike with precision. The dropouts have eyelets for a rack and mudguards and the frame has accompanying weld-ons and bottle cages. It'll do anything, or you can leave it alone. It has HUGE tyre clearance up to 2.7" tyres with clearance. Many options available, ask for details. |
